comes 'Weather for Vultures',
occupying a dark intersection in the Venn diagram between moon lit washes of cavernous doom, atmospheric noise, dusty boom-bap,
and carefully-calibrated electronic drum patterns excavated from a dank attic in Columbus OH.
Weather for Kites provides the production,
haunted by distant piano loops and vinyl static,
interspersed with crisp high-hats and submerged in folds of bass.
V.L is in a reflective but vengeful mood, alternating a soft spoken delivery with razor-sharp nihilist barbs and unforgettable, goblinesque imagery.
A anomaly of the underground, channeling echoes of the myth scape of classic 90s alternative rap lyricism, and deconstructing the aesthetics of an industry and culture lost to spectacle and commercial vanity.
